Calling times

Dear friends, I have an important announcement to make. Over the years, ignorant people have called me up at unearthly hours, with a lot of not-so-important requests. The problem here is not the request, but the unearthly hour (which to me is anything after 2300 hrs). Now before you call me, ask yourself a few qns first:

1. Am I a 24 hour suicide hotline?
2. Am I a night shift security guard?
3. Am I a heart surgeon?
4. Am I a regimental policeman?

If you answer no to all these qns, you are damn right! I work a 9-6 job, with OT sometimes, and I need my beauty sleep. My dad is a daytime dad, my bro is a soldier with odd work hours, but if he happens to be at home he's working normal office hrs that day. We need our sleep. Is the phone ringing gonna affect a man in slumber? It might or might not, but it reflects badly on your regard for your friends if you insist on calling me at that time.

There are a few exceptional cases which I will welcome if called at an unearthly hour:

1. You feel suicidal and need someone to talk to
2. You are delirious and my number is the first one in your head when you attempt to dial for help (strange that 995 is harder to recall than mine, though)
3. You have a big burden you are losing sleep over and you need to talk to someone URGENTLY.

In these cases, please DO call me, I will do my best to prevent you from doing something silly. But if you can help it, dun call. If you can't help it, and need to call, I'd appreciate if you call my mum at her hp (97301202) so she can screen her calls and decide whether to scold u. She usually stays up later.
