Today I went to play soccer with the old gang, or the remnants of it. I was conspicuously aware of the fact that I was past my prime. Worried about my injured disc, i took my eye off the ball when passing and fell, sustaining a nasty graze.
I wish I was thick-skinned enough to boast, but my footy days are behind me. I was totally outplayed by Timmo the magician.
I'm extremely drained. I've lost the ability to view life in an amusing way. I'm tormented by the past. I may stop blogging.
