the running god and rice cooker
lol. this will be a short but worthwhile post. regular readers of my column will not expect me to be blogging on a normal tuesday night, but as it seems, my OC is in a good mood and he has offered everyone a night's out, so I will be booking in at about 10 pm. gotta leave the house in little more than 20 mins to reach there comfortably. My only agenda for coming home, worthy of mention, would be running on the treadmill, training for my IPPT nxt friday. With my current standard of fitness and overflowing confidence it would ordinarily been achieved at a canter, or what some term a walk in the park, or at a breeze, however I will be engaging in a very physically and mentally tiring exercise of digging holes, some bigger than coffin-size, from monday to wednesday, which will undoubtedly put a near unbearable toll on my already weakened and injury-wrecked body. However, I think the one and only god, who will also be the god of running, is with me throughout this exercise. Through a mixture of good fortune such as nights out and MCs which i got legitimately from army doctors (who are notoriously famous for not giving mcs)I have been blessed with the opportunity to run in all but one day the past 2 weeks. Tomorrow I will be booking out for my physio appointment, so I again will have the chance to run more. My mum has been getting on my nerves. While I came home to read the national day rally and run she keeps accusing me of playing computer games. she likes to talk nonsense, if I may say so crudely. I have just screamed at her to mind her Ps and Qs. Ok, i mean raised my voice in a respectful manner, but she unreasonably told me to shuddap. resolved to being a forgiving person I have not taken this incident to heart. I think I am autistic. I do not like to talk to people when I have a problem with them, preferring to suc k it up till it reaches the boiling point, then i burst with a head of steam like the proverbial rice cooker. What do you think? I hafto go bathe right NOW before I book in. Remind me to blog about the fight downstairs(not involving yours truly of course) on Saturday. Till then, sms your opinions to me at 96665519, as I will not be online to read them. Tata
